Meaning
A judicial sanction restricts non-compliant debtors from engaging in non-essential consumption or luxury spending. The high-spending restriction order is issued by people’s courts to exert financial and social pressure on individuals who fail to perform obligations established in legal judgments. It bars the debtor from high-speed rail travel, purchasing real estate, or sending children to expensive private schools.
Restricted Activity
The legal measure blocks the debtor from a specific range of high-cost services and luxury purchases. These include flying on commercial airlines, staying in hotels with high ratings, and purchasing luxury goods or financial products with high yields. By implementing these consumption boundaries, the court aims to compel the debtor to prioritize the payment of outstanding debts over personal comfort.
Enforcement Network
Courts distribute the identity of the restricted individual to national registry databases, transportation platforms, and banking networks. When the debtor attempts to purchase a plane ticket or book a luxury hotel room, the integrated system automatically blocks the transaction. This coordinated database network prevents the debtor from circumventing the consumption limits.
Order Removal
The restricted party can apply to have the consumption limits lifted after fulfilling their court-ordered obligations. The execution bureau will cancel the order within a short timeframe once the creditor confirms full receipt of the owed amount.
